We’re at DMEXCO 2026 in Cologne

The Vortex Media team is at DMEXCO 2026 in Cologne on 23 and 24 September. Here is what we are showing and how to set up a conversation with us.

DMEXCO is back at Koelnmesse in Cologne on 23 and 24 September, and the Vortex Media team is there. If you are walking the halls this week, we would like to meet you.

What we are talking about

Most conversations we have at a show like this start with the same problem from two different directions. Publishers want more video their audience actually wants to watch, without handing their pages over to units that push readers away. Advertisers want to reach people who are paying attention, in places they can name and verify. Those two problems have one answer: put editorial content first and build the monetization into it.

That is the product we are bringing to Cologne:

  • Editorial vertical video on publisher sites and inside news, content and game apps. Your own newsroom and social video first, AI teasers created from your articles, and curated editorial video when you need more.
  • The formats that run inside the player: 16:9 and 9:16 video, linear display, full-player vertical display and the bottom wing, plus rewarded, interstitial, native and banner formats in apps.
  • The Vortex OpenSDK: integrate once on iOS and Android, then connect any ad network or SSP through Prebid Server, OpenRTB, VAST or native formats, without adding another SDK for every partner.
  • Curated, verifiable supply for buyers, declared in ads.txt, app-ads.txt and sellers.json, with pre-bid and post-bid fraud checks and creative filtering.

Who should talk to us

  • Publishers and newsrooms who have video, or want to create it, and are not seeing it turn into revenue.
  • App and game teams who are tired of carrying several ad SDKs and want to keep their own demand partners.
  • Brands and agencies who want video, display and CTV inventory inside content people chose to watch, on supply they can check line by line.

What is on our mind this year

Two themes keep coming up in the market, and both will be in our conversations in Cologne.

The first is that attention is being bought back. Buyers who spent years optimising for the cheapest impression are asking harder questions about where an ad ran and whether anyone saw it. That favours content-led environments over anonymous long-tail supply.

The second is that discovery is changing. People are asking assistants questions instead of typing keywords, and publishers are watching search traffic move. Video that lives on the publisher’s own property, and gets recommended inside their own experience, is one of the few channels a publisher still controls end to end.

Meet us in Cologne

We have time for conversations on both days of the show. Send us a note and we will find a slot, or ask for a walkthrough of the player and the formats on your own site or app.

Not at DMEXCO? The same walkthrough works over a call. You can also read how we work with publishers, news and content apps, game developers and advertisers.
